Cyber Bullying
If you are a victim of Cyber Bullying tell a parent or other adult and stay clear of the internet or your cell phone!
Cyber Bullying is when a person is being harassed, embarassed, or humiliated online by other people, whose intentions are to hurt the victim. Cyber Bullying is always teens doing the bullying. If adults are harassing another person it is called a different name, Cyber-harassement or cyberstalking. Cyber Bullying is never adults. There are more than one different kind of Cyber Bullying, one is a direct attack, where the messages are being personally sent to the other, or another way is called proxy, which is using others to help with the Cyber Bullying so most of the time it is a large group for proxy.
Most of the time the Cyber Bullier is trying to get revenge on that certain person. There are many other reasons why teens Cyberbully such as: to be funny, because their bored, or they could do it by accident and send a message to the wrong person so what was intended to be gossip is now Cyber Bullying. 6 out of 10 teens experience Cyberbullying and over 160,000 students don't go to school because of being Cyber Bullied. A lot of time Cyber Bullying can go as far as the victim commiting suicide. It can be prevented. We need to tell teens about the consequences of it, and how it affects the other person.
